Nkoni Palace at Nkoni, Masaka in Buddu County is the private residence of Ssaabasajja Kabaka. Of great historical importance, Nkoni Palace was built in 1955 by the people in Buddu County and presented it as a gift to Ssekabaka Sir Edward Mutesa II upon his return from exile.
The Palace was also the favorite of Ssekabaka Sir Edward Mutesa II as he frequently resided there with the members of the Royal Family. The Palace was renovated in 1993 after the coronation of His Majesty Ssaabasajja Kabaka. Like Baamunaanika, Nkoni Palace is not open to visitors. Renovations and construction works are currently going on in the Palace.
