Simon Ssenkaayi holds an MBA (UMU), BA-Ed (UMU), Advanced Training in SMEs (Istanbul -Turkey), Advanced Training in ENT (Dubai, UAE) & Training in Board Leadership & Management (Mahe, Seychelles).
Before joining Nkuluze, he served in both the private and public sector. He has previously worked with Youth for Human Rights International (Uganda Chapter), Germany foundation for World Population (Dsw-Bonita), Save the children Uganda, Uganda Red Cross society, Young Empowered and Health (Initiative of Uganda Aids Commission), Winsor Consult UK (Uganda Offices), Radio One & CBS (FM Stations) & BBS Terefayina, Ministry of Youth- Buganda Kingdom, Inspiration & Insights Hub Ltd as a founder and Lead Consultant, K2 telecom and Child & Elderly Support Organization.
He is a member of the Uganda Red Cross Society, a member of the Youth Committee of the World, a member of the International Youth Council and Buganda Youth Council and former active volunteer of the UN Online Volunteers. He is also a member of the World Creative Youth Forum and TakingIT Global Organization. In 2010, he was among the best authors of the World Bank Essay Writing Competition and in 2018/2019, he was the Vocational Service Awardee for Rotary, Uganda.
Mr. Ssenkaayi is an author of two famous Self-Help books, Naawe Osobola, published in 2021 and Amaanyi g’Obuntu published in 2018 by the Katikkiro of Buganda. He is also a media personality hosted on both BBS Terefayina and CBS FM radios respectively.
He joined the Office of the Royal Treasury (Nkuluze) in October 2012 as a Corporate and Liaison officer before fully becoming the Head of Department in 2017, a position he has held todate.
